General information: The Seychelles is comprised of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, scattered over one million square kilometres of ocean.
The islands support a unique array of fauna and flora. Tourism is the main industry. Shrimps and tuna are canned for export. Copra and cinnamon are also produced.
