General information: Guinea is on the West coast of Africa, between Sierra Leone and Senegal. It has a coastal plain, densely forested highlands, and semi desert in the north. The climate is dry from November to April, but heavy rains over the rest of the year exceed 430 centimetres.
Exports: Coffee, rice, palm kernels, alumina ( it supplies a smelter in Cameroon), bauxite and diamonds
Mining: Guinea has a wide range of resource including; bauxite, gold, diamonds, and iron ore.
